Featured on cable’s E! Entertainment channel five times over the 1999 New Year’s weekend as the “Five Year Harmonica Band”, celebrating five years of E! Music News, and again on the E! post-show coverage of the 51st Emmy Awards Show on September 12, 1999. Both shows hosted by David Adelson, VP/Managing Editor of Hits Magazine. In addition, the Trio has been interviewed and performed several times on the FM 97.1 Talk Radio Saturday night show, “C Notes”, hosted by Adelson. He has proclaimed on the air numerous times, the Dave McKelvy Trio is his “favorite band on the Planet!”

The Trio was requested by David Adelson to play at the memorial celebration for the late Jeff Belker, E!’s Senior Producer. Held at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on January 29, 1999, it was our privilege to be part of the celebration.
And again, Adelson featured the Trio’s recorded music on the E! Entertainment coverage of the Golden Globe Awards show on January 23, 2000. Also on the 72nd Academy Awards (Oscar) post-show, covering the parties, aired on E! on March 28, 2000.
Not again! E! Entertainment used the recorded tracks of the Trio during their broadcast celebrating E!’s 10th Birthday Celebration on August 12, 2000, during the segment remembering Jeff Belker.
December 23, 2002 saw the Dave McKelvy Trio featured on E!’s Holiday edition of E! News Live with David Adelson, Linda Grasso, and Todd Newton.
